72 Hours Later.. 3 days of numbers from Canadian launch [infographic]

It’s been a crazy few days since we launched our one-of-a-kind location based zombie MMO, Please Stay Calm , in the Canadian App Store.

Since few apps have published country specific numbers like Canada for example, we thought these numbers might be interesting. Needless to say we’re thrilled to get off on such a great start and we can’t wait til we launch in the US in October and globally shortly after that!

Here’s a quick look at some of the numbers we saw during those first few days:

    Congrats on the launch guys.

Just a thought, based on your numbers you say that the average number of daily plays is 5 times a day vs. 2 times a day for the industry.

You think this might be because of the kind of game you’ve made? As an example, I might play a game like Catan for an hour, but only once a day, vs. your game where I might play for 15 minutes at a time but come back a few times a day at various locations due to it’s geolocation functions.

Sorry, just analyzing numbers for you. :S 😉

The industry average is for Role Playing Game genre on the iOS app store. Not sure Catan is that category but we’re also beating the industry average for session length for our category as well 😀

Am I the only person who wishes there was more of a tutorial/overview for this game? After the initial cinematic was done I wasn’t sure how to actually “play” the game.

Maybe I just need a video tutorial posted on YouTube.

    • Ken Seto on September 14, 2011

@Cullens you didn’t see the tutorial after the game started? It steps you through about 4 missions to get you started.

  • Cullens on September 14, 2011

@Ken Hmm, okay. It’s probably just me. Maybe because I skipped past the intro video.

your revenue (0.2 c/day) come from click on partenair’s videos or credit buyers ?

    • Keriko on September 14, 2011

To play you force players to click on these videos.
If revenue come from ads banner and not from internal payment, It don’t mean players want to pay to have credit,It mean they want to play for free and don’t see a potential long term value.
